5 Stars Michael jackson: The Magic, The Madness, The Whole Story, 1958-2009
This is a very comprehensive book on MJ’s life. I also think it is the most unbiased. It’s books like this that keeps me grounded in that MJ was only human and did have human frailties. When you watch him on stage and listen to his sweet innocent views on life, it is easy to feel that he was almost god like. The only thing I question in the book is the author questions MJ’s innocence in the 1993 molestation charges. I suggest you read “Redemption” by Geraldine Hughes and decide for yourself. I plan to donate my MJ books to the local library after I’ve read them. It is a way to get out that he was innocent and that his kind of entertainment talent only happens once. I am a new fan; post MJ’s death. To keep his legacy alive we need to spread the word. I’d like to see a book dedicated soley to MJ’s humanitarian deeds. He was such a loving and caring person.
1 Star Michael Jackson Fans DO NOT buy this book!!!
I don’t know how he’s “revamped” or “revised” it since Michael’s death but I’m warning all true MJ fan do not buy this book from this “author”!!! I got it when it first came out because I thought it was going to be a fair and accurate biography it’s not! It is the exact opposite! He says & uses things the MEDIA has said to make Michael look strange and weird. He publishes this book, right after the bogus (yes the ARE bogus you want to read a REAL book, read the Michael Jackson Conspiracy by Aphrodite Jones) Child molestation charges and he adds a lot of things in there that make Michael look so bad it’s not even funny & half of it is media trash and speculations! None proven fact but of course everyone loves to read the worst about poor Michael so he just jumped right on the bandwagon. Before i ramble on too much just read some of the other reviews of this book, I see ALOT of people on here with the same opinion of it as me but with more detail into why it is an awful awful bio of MJ. thanks for reading
1 Star This author is unfairly believed!
Taraborrelli is just a coward who did not dare to say that Michael was innocent, he decided to be impartial. And it’s a close friend of Diane Dimond…how can anyone believe he was Michael’s friend?
But no, blind fans want to believe him, just because they like the stories about Michael Jackson’s sex life with Lisa Marie.
Even a jounalist like Ian Halperin could say it. That Michael was always innocent. But the blind fans hate unfairly Ian just because he says Michael was gay…and so?!
Taraborrelli is the evil one, not Ian. Taraborrelli, as Dimond’s friends, may secretly believe that Michael was a child molester.
Coward.
True Michael fans, open up your eyes!
5 Stars A REALLY GREAT BOOK1
I just finished this book this morning. I have never read a book of this size before in my life. I usually keep them around 300 pages but I must say I could not put this one down. It made me laugh, made me cry and made me remember just how much we all loved Michael Jackson. The book does have 29 pages of sources in the back and regardless of some people’s opinions on this Biographer’s work I believe it is a very good piece of work. This is what this man does and I think he does it well. For anyone who loves Michael Jackson, if they decide to pass buying this book because of a few crummy reviews then they are truly missing out.
Can you imagine how agonizing it must have been for Michael when he lived in Hayvenhurst and couldn’t get past the front gates without being mobbed. He walked the streets in the middle of the night hoping for someone to talk to. That was told by Katherine and I’m sure his mother knew a lot about him at that age. What I believe is Michael is where he wanted to be. In peace. He was truly one of the bravest pioneers of our time. He was a complicated human being with so many sides. You could flip him and there would be another one. I will always love you Michael Jackson. Rest in Peace.
All I can say is Don’t pass this book up. It is truly a great and exciting and sad read.
