3 Stars Quality of the video is poor…
I purcahsed this as a Christmas present for my 9 year old son who has become a MJ fan. My son enjoys the video very much. I however was disappointed with the quality of the video. It is very grainy. My son does not seem to mind and practices his MJ moves daily. If you purchase this video be prepared that the quality may not be what you are accustomed to.

5 Stars michael was a thriller
This an excellent video dvd of Michael Jackson, as I remember him back in the 80’s. What a great preformer showing all his talent in dance as well as singing. He was a legend in our times. Anyone who is a fan of his, will love and want to purchase this dvd. Not only have I watched it over and over. So have my kids and grandkids. Its a must and a keeper.

This DVD has most of the songs I really like. It brings to life what Michael Jackson accomplished during his life. He was a great entertainer, and really put some special touches on his music videos that are really artistic and entertaining. This is a wonderful way to remember him.

This DVD has full versions of MJ’s short films. It contains Bad, Billie Jean, Thriller, Black or White (with some information that at the time it was contravercial), Rock With You, Remember the Time, and The Way You Make Me Feel. I think I like the Black or White on the History II better because the making of the film bit and controvercy parts were left out. I plan to donate my MJ books to the local library after I’ve read them. It is a way to get out that he was innocent and that his kind of entertainment talent only happens once. I am a new fan; post MJ’s death. To keep his legacy alive we need to spread the word. I’d like to see a book dedicated soley to MJ’s humanitarian deeds. He was such a loving and caring person.

Michael appeared to be tired and out of breath in some instances, but to his fans in Bucharest, they did not matter. They adored him. He was such a joy to watch. He was a master of his craft. He was second to none. Definitely a “must” buy. It’s a great way to remember his unbelievable run as the “King of Pop”.

I really like this DVD because the quality is good and there is nothing better than watching MJ in a live performance. That’s why he was the ultimate entertainer. I know tours really took it out of him and is what probably lead to his death but his live performances was what separated him from other entertainers. It’s where his real genius lies. This DVD includes, Jam, Wanna Be Startin somethin,Human nature, Smooth Criminal, I just Can’t Stop Loving You, She’s Out of My Life, Jackson 5 Medley (I Want You Back, The Love You Save, I’ll Be there), Thriller Billie Jean, Working Day and Night, Beat It, will You Be There, Black or White, Heal The World, and Man in the Mirror. 4 Stars Fans drown out MJ
The video is great when it focuses on Michael, however, there are too many fan shots. I don’t care if girls are passing out, I want to see Michael sing and dance. Also, sometimes it is difficult to hear MJ over the constant roar of the crowds. Otherwise, MJ is brilliant, as always. He will forever be the King of Pop.

This is a great dvd – worth every penny. The pictures are clear and MJ is awesome. However, I wish it was all Michael and less of the crowd – mostly because I love him so much and couldn’t care less about the crowd. Also, wasn’t a fan of Wanna be Starting Something” because it sounded off-key. Regardless, definately worth the buy. 100%. I have bought 3 copies so far, 2 as x-mas gifts.

This was one of the most poorly generic pieces of trash that was ever thrown together for money. I am sorry i ever wasted my money. I ususally want Michael Jackson stories to last forever, but I couldn’t wait for this one to end. I will never buy something before reviews of it are posted. A complete RIPOFF

this tape was terrible. it was put together by people other than who was actually in his life. old producers.etc. no videos included none of his music just was awful..

Do not buy both “Michael Jackson, A Remarkable Life” and “Michael Jackson, Never Surrender.” Though they are packaged and named differently, the CDs are exact copies of each other. The publishers are obviously trying to double their money. I got taken, but don’t you do it!

This is a two disc set without an accurate, detailed description. Box one is an assortment of home movies and interviews rolled together without being in chronologic or any other type of order. Box 2 is a series of stills taken by the fans and crowds. Very open, but it’s like watching your neighbors home movies out of sequence. This is good for viewing Michael as the shy and creative young man he was.

4 Stars Michael’s “mega box” interviews
I was really looking forward to receiving this purchase, but the first time I had received it there was audio and visual problems, I could not see Michaels face on several of his interviews. Amazon was gracious enough to replace my box set, however some problems have been fixed where as other problems still exist. for instance michaels interview along side latoya, I can not see his face and he was so cute during this interview. I know it can be cleaned up because I have watched it on utube. I enjoyed his interviews with Oprah, and of course Barbara, and Diane Sawyer. Just listening to michael speak melts my heart, these interviews show me how callious these jouralist were during those times. And Of course the fan’s pictures showing michael in various locations, I really enjoyed the opportunity to watch this in action. I love the Japan interview with him laughing, Michael has such a beautiful laugh it is from his soul. I learned about his lawsuit on songs he has written or sung on one of his interviews in this box set, this was interesting to me because the songs they were talking about were big hits, for instance “heal the world”, ” the girl is mine” and “thriller” what he had to endure while proving how he wrote songs and put them into a tape recorder, this man was a genius. This interview doesn’t get old to me, because I am watching a genius at work coming up with how he write his songs and composite them into music. Incrediable. But it you get cut off and wondering the end of this lawsuit. I have to say honestly I enjoy this mega box set, but I feel they had through it together to sell in michael name. I believe when it comes to spending money on these types of things there should be quality, and not just thrown together to say here it is this is michael jackson. I knew that obvious that I couldn’t replace it a third time because you don’t know what kind of shape it would be in. I would be cautious when it comes to spending your money on anything michael jackson, because somebody doesn’t care about the comsumers. I enjoy what I can hear and watch when it comes to MJ-I feel a little closer to an incrediable genius.

5 Stars Not at all fair
I wasn’t going to bother posting a review for this as lots of people who had given it 5 stars before me had already summed the DVD set up. It seems though that a number of idiots have started giving it bad reviews though because they don’t bother to read reviews.

The quality of the DVDs is the best quality that the interviews come in, yes it might have looked better on YouTube on your tiny monitor but it is the same footage.

As for the guy who thought a box set of 4 DVDs would be MJ’s entire discography. WTF?!

The Michael Jackson Mega box is a must have for Michael Jackson fans. I have watched the DVD’s several times and will watch them again and again. They give a real insight to who Michael Jackson was as a human being not just a superstar.

Hello to all MJ Fans

If you look at this article this means that you are probably really interested into buying this product, maybe as much as I was when I ordered it ?!!!

And I did receive it. First thing I did was put it into my player and then………. I saw the quality of the videos !

I can’t believe this whole box is sold with the 4 dvds in such a BAD QUALITY, sometimes we even have a hard time seeing the details on Michael’s face. The image is soooo critical, grainy and fuzzy, it’s horrible !

I just don’t understand how there can be dvds like these on sale. I saw a few of the interviews on this box before, and the quality wasn’t so nasty. How can this be possible ??

It looks like since MJ’s death, too many people take advantage of the situation to make money saling anything and everything they can think of…, and this is just a real shame !…

If you love Michael Jackson as I do, you might just buy this product anyway, but I thought it would be good for you to know about the quality before being really surprised yourself !…
