Afterwards, Bo Diddley returns and performs again. His interview begins in Pt. 4.

Ed, do you suppose her knowledge of Pat Sajak being from Chicago (although we learn here not entirely correct) comes from her memory of the script from the Aunt Josephine episode of “Valerie”. Mrs Poole’s line: “It’s almost time for ‘Nighttime Wheel of Fortune! Oh, that Pat Sajak; he’s so cute. You know he’s from Chicago! Yah!”

Man, that’s some big, pouffy ’80s hair she had here! It’s too bad the she she was on at the time, “City”, didn’t last. It was pretty funny, as I remember.
I agree. “City” was a great show and should’ve been given a longer life. By the way, I’m not sure if you’re aware of this or not, but I have all of the episodes of “City” uploaded on one of my playlists. Feel free to get reacquainted with the show if you haven’t already. Enjoy!
Could be… who knows? By this time it had been over 3 years since she shot that episode. I can’t imagine her watching repeats (especially her episodes) like we fans do. I know she watched the show after she was fired as a way of “checking up on the boys”, as she put it, but to wax nostalgic for the show like we fans do, I don’t see that happening. Oftentimes we remember tidbits from episodes due to repeated viewings. Valerie, if she didn’t tune in regularly, wouldn’t have that advantage.
Valerie was looking hot in this appearance.
I dont remember the show, i remember that valerie harpers name appeared on the hogan show for a long time after she left the show, my favorite performance (on television) she did was on sex and the city, she played the mother of one of carrie BFs, she was an illectual maven, very good part and she was great in it…
